Building toward a future where every child grows up in a family.
Our vision is to see a generation of Ugandan children raised in families, breaking the cycle of family separation and poverty. Every family strengthened, every child reunited, and every organization equipped brings us one step closer.

Peter's Story
Before joining Otem Collective’s Parent Support Groups, Peter’s home felt disconnected. He ate meals alone while his wife and children ate separately. It seemed normal until he began learning about the power of family connection through simple, everyday moments.
Peter started sitting with his family at mealtimes, listening to his children, and involving his wife in household decisions. Through the agriculture initiative and village savings groups, Peter also gained the tools to provide for his family—earning income from his harvest, starting a poultry project, and building savings for future opportunities so his children can thrive at home.
Peter’s transformation has extended beyond his own home. Friends and relatives who visit his family leave inspired by what they see, carrying those lessons back to their own families.
“We were trained to do everything together as a family, including having meals. Ever since we started eating together, I feel so much healthier. We bond with our children at the table and use this time to teach and mentor them. Now, before I make any decision, I first discuss it with my wife. We share responsibilities, and our family has grown so much closer.”
