Why

Strengthening families is the best way to support orphaned and vulnerable children. Not only do children need the sense of belonging that comes from a family, but residential care is proven to have long-lasting detrimental impacts on children. Institutional care negatively impacts child development and social development and is associated with increased risk later in life in regards to higher rates of unemployment, sexual exploitation, homelessness, and issues with the law. We work to prevent family separation and address the root causes that drive family separation in Uganda.

We believe that children grow best in families.

Whether you give one time or join us monthly, you will help sustain our mission of strengthening families and communities to care for vulnerable children.

Give Monthly

Join the community of people, just like you, who are committed to bring lasting change and hope to vulnerable children and families.

One Time Gift

Just like children and families need support, we need your support to ensure children grow up in families.

Matching Gifts

Did you know that many companies have a matching gift program to encourage employee giving? And that some companies even match gifts from spouses and retirees?

“I am what I am today because a certain family received me in, and I was given this sense of belonging and identity. That transformed my life completely.”
